About

Otane Green earnt its name after the former owner and farmer commented that even during a dry season he never wanted for rain and the pasture always seemed to be well conditioned.

The subdivision has a pleasant outlook over rural farmland, with the adjoining land Rural Production Zone in the proposed CHBDC plan. The green pastures carpet the view to distant rolling ranges.

To the north-western side of the subdivision, runs a paper road, which offers space for the adjoining sites to enjoy.

Comprising 20 sites, ranging from 490m² to 645m². All are of practical shape and level contour. The subdivision has been thoughtfully designed to maximise the placement of the outdoor yard and living rooms on the sunny site of the dwelling, while still enabling access to an integral garage.

Land covenants protect the quality of the development. All sites, except those along the southern edge of the subdivision must be single storey to protect sunlight. Sensible and realistic building restrictions ensure the quality of the all new homes. See the land covenants here.

Service connections will be provided to the boundary of each lot, including water, power, fibre and sewerage. Each site must capture stormwater via a holding tank as part of the building process.
